Food and Wine Tour - Private

Customised especially to your preferred departure time and interests, our Food and Wine Private tour is the ultimate central Christchurch cycle experience.

What better way to discover the heart of our city than by cycling along purpose-built cycle paths and tasting local food and wine from some of our favourite hospitality hot spots?

This 5.5 hour journey caters to the food and wine lover as well as those keen to see the very best of Christchurch’s revitalised urban centre in a fun and relaxed way. Your experienced guide will show you local highlights including heritage sites, cultural icons, parks and gardens in between refreshment stops and taste sensations.

Enjoy a great coffee to get your journey started before exploring Canterbury’s wine region from the comfort one of our favourite wine bars, or tasting locally brewed beers at a central city spot if your group prefers. Lunch is a delicious tasting platter of locally sourced bites.

Itinerary highlights: Hagley Park, Avon River Trail, the Arts Centre, City CBD, Town Hall. Margaret Mahy Playground, High St and Cashel St Mall. Coffee or Tea @ one of our favourite coffee stops, wine tasting & nibbles at a local wine specialist or beer tasting & nibbles at a craft brewery and bar.

Cancellation Policy:

- If you cancel 21 days or more prior to the tour date, you can apply for a full refund less 15% deposit (admin fee)

- There is no refund if you cancel less than 21 days prior to the tour date. No refunds will be provided in the event of injury, illness (including Covid-19), lack of fitness, or ability.

If the tour is cancelled by Chill due to circumstances outside our control, a refund less 15% will be given. This is at the discretion of the guide, and safety is the most the most important consideration.

In case of rain or inclement weather, the bike tour will be changed to a walking tour, umbrellas can be provided by Chill.
